Hello! We are so glad you found this page and hope you find value in the resources and information here.
Our goal is to support grassroots efforts using sound science, defined social context, and promotion of local cooperatives. With over 15 years experience in wildlife management and social science, we seek to leverage our network of public and private wildlife stewards to find solutions, cultivate community, and collaboratively work to manage deer with sound science in Michigan.

Deer cooperatives occur when groups of hunters/landowners collaborate to manage deer. The groups can be super informal and small or have a formal board and thousands of acres under membership.

“Anna’s presence as co-op coordinator has breathed life back into co-ops in Michigan. When her position way eliminated NDA didn’t seem interested in co-ops anymore, that has all changed again now that she is back involved. I don’t think that’s a coincidence!”
-Harold W.
“She is always helpful and is spectacular at what she does. She was a terrific asset to bring on board for the NDA.”
Mike M.
“I don’t believe in perfection, divinity is for the heavens, but Anna is doing a pretty damn good job. I feel as if Anna is communicative, and persistent. Passionate and driven so far I feel as if the funded position is being handled correctly.”
-David F.
